This photograph is from my "Best Sellers" Collection.  ********** The first sign of spring is often the bloom of the fruit trees.  During this time, birds can be clearly seen perched among this beautiful backdrop of flowers.  As it gets closer to summer, photographs of birds perched in the trees becomes more and more difficult. In this photograph, a beautifully colored male house finch, perches perfectly between the blooms of a peach tree.  The reality for each of us is that it is the time to stop and smell the roses as they say.  It is as if all nature is telling us to "look at me!"  I think, honestly, my favorite times of the year are the beginning of spring and autumn.  Although the summer seems to be a better time for water sports, the leaves become dull and the humidity can be smothering.
